It is with sadness we announce the passing of Patrick Morris, who left this world on January 9, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on June 26, 1947, in Newark, NJ, Patrick was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many with his pleasant personality and humor.
Mr. Morris was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, having enlisted on August 1, 1964, and honorably discharged as an E4 on December 1, 1968. His service to his country instilled in him a sense of duty and camaraderie that he carried with him throughout his life.
A talented bartender at the Nutley Pub, Patrick was known for his storytelling and ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all. He forged lasting friendships and became a fixture in the community, always ready to lend an ear or share a laugh. After 20 years at the pub, he retired and went on to work at Bruno's pizzeria in Lyndhurst where he continued to make life-long friendships.
Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Morris, devoted father of Kerrie Morris and Stephen Morris. Cherished brother of Helen & her husband Fred Schedeman, Kevin Morris & his wife Catherine Giambattista, Mary & her husband Len Davis and the late Marion Vizzone, Joseph Morris and Charlotte Moncelsi.
Details of the memorial service will be announced soon, and we encourage all who knew Patrick to partake in the celebration of his remarkable life. Let us come together to celebrate the laughter, love, and memories he leaves behind, forever cherishing the imprint he made on our hearts.
