Peter Joseph Patti

Peter Joseph Patti USMC, 83, of North Arlington, NJ passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Loving father of Donna Wright and Laurie (Scott) Webster. Beloved grandfather to Rachel (TJ) Ervin, Olivia (Pete) Hughes, Evan Wright and William Wright and great-grandfather to Tommy, Wyatt, and Audrey. He is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Angelina Patti and his beloved sister Marie Consalvo. He is survived by his brother Joseph Patti. Dear Uncle to Lorraine (Anthony) Giaquinto, Bernie Consalvo, and Debbie Consalvo and all his other nieces and nephews. He had many friends and was known for his kindness and generosity to everyone. He has gone home to be with his best friend John Kenyon. Surviving, former spouse Patricia Opfer and long-term girlfriend Kathleen (Kay) Koscvik. He was a United States Marine, (Semper Fi), a combat Marine serving in Beirut, Lebanon, a Legion of Honor Recipient, AMVETS Post 20 Department of New Jersey Four Chaplains, and spoke at Christa McAuliffe School on Veterans Day many years in a row. His love for the military was limitless. He was a Longshoreman for the International Longshoremen Association for over 40 years. Pete generously supported Deborah Heart and Lung Center with his steadfast volunteering efforts. He was an avid sports fan, especially his baseball. He loved his flea markets and his “stuff”, there wasnt anything too old or too used in his eyes. Friends will be received Saturday 9AM - 12PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral service 12PM with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
