Philip Vaccaro, Jr.

Vaccaro, Philip Jr., 88, of North Bergen for 60 years, formerly of Tampa, Florida, on September 15, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Theresa (nee Saprona) Vaccaro, who pre-deceased him in 1991. Loving father of Ronald and Joseph Vaccaro. Cherished grandfather of four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was a WWII Army Veteran serving in the 101st Airborne "Screaming Eagles" Glider Division. Mr. Vaccaro was a member of the VFW Post 2342 Cairola-Barber, Fort Lee. He was also a member of the Pioneers of Western Electric. He was employed by Western Electric in Kearny for 25 years as well as Hudson United Bank in Fairview and Cliffside for 10 years. Funeral Mass Thursday 11 AM at Our Lady of Grace Church, Fairview. Private Cremation. Arrangements handled by Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Ave., Fort Lee, NJ.
