Ralph Angelo Vuono, 92, of Lyndhurst, NJ, on Thursday, April 23, 2009. Ralph was born July 27, 1916 in Nutley, NJ. Beloved Husband of 63 years of Rose (nee Montalto) Vuono. Loving Father of Chizzie Vuono & his Wife Linda, Ralph A. Vuono, Jr. & his Wife Patricia and Frank Vuono & his Wife Dorothy. Dear Brother of Mike Vuono of Port St. Lucy, FL and Brother-in-Law of Marie Gingerelli. Cherished Grandfathter of Laura Ann Marinelli, Jamie Ann Vuono, Danielle Marie Volpe, Ralph J. Vuono, Theresa Rose Vuono, Lisa Marie Vuono and Renada Leigh Vuono. Adored Great-Grandfather of Rianna & Michael Marinelli and Brian James Volpe. Loving Uncle and Grand-Uncle to many. Ralph was a Supervisor at Westinghouse for 33 years until his retirement. He was extremely active in the Lyndhurst community. As he raised his family, he and his wife Rose were involved in the Little League program for 20 years. Ralph was the president of the Lyndhurst Booster Club and was inducted into the Lyndhurst High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Pops was beloved in the Lyndhurst community. Funeral Monday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10 AM Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
