Ralph J. Romano

Ralph J. Romano, 66, of Fairfield, NJ on Monday, February 18, 2008. Beloved husband of Rose (nee Francavilla). Loving father of Laura and her husband Michael Boasso, & Rachael and her husband Donald Donadio. Dear brother of Ronald, Gary, & the late Anthony Romano. Cherished grandfather of Cassidy Rose. Mr. Romano was a foreman in the Parks Dept. for the Township of Fairfield for 29 years before retiring in 2005. He was a member of the United States Bowling Congress Bergen County Chapter for 50 years. He loved bowling, fishing, golfing and recently fulfilled his lifelong dream of a cross country trip. The light of his life, the center of his universe, was his granddaughter Cassidy Rose. Funeral service Thursday 9am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield NJ. Funeral Mass 10am St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Entombment Gate of Heaven, East Hanover. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
