It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph Zocco, III, who left us on April 7, 2025, at the age of 30. Born on June 27, 1994, in Teaneck, NJ, Ralph was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He resided in Hawthorne, NJ, and proudly worked as an Operating Engineer for Local 825, where he dedicated his skills and passion to his craft.
Ralph was an ethereal being with an infectious smile, a genuine love for animals, especially his cats Luke and Bear, and a fervent enthusiasm for all things automotive. Ralph's warmth, kindness, and infectious laughter will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He made a lasting impact on anyone who has met him, and he loved his family ferociously.
He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Iovine (Richard Dey), and his father, Ralph Zocco, Jr. (Fran). He was a loving brother to Gianna Zocco, and devoted uncle to his niece, Stella Sanzari. Ralph also leaves behind his grandparents, Carol & Ralph Zocco, Sr. and Jean Iovine, as well as his cousins, Guiliana & Joseph, Ava-Loren, Dean & Brandon, and Micheal, Ralph & Kyle, and his aunts and uncles, Joseph & Elise Iovine, Lisa & Jeff Polewka, Dana Iovine, and Lisa & Mike Hroncich. He is predeceased by his grandfather, Joseph Iovine.
Friends & family will be recieved Thursday 4-8 PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Entombment Friday 11am at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to The Humane Society in Ralph's name, honoring his deep compassion for animals and his love for all living creatures.
Ralph Zocco, III, may have departed this world, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched with his kindness, passion, and love.
