Saavedra, Ramiro, 76, of Lyndhurst, NJ, on May 21, 2011. Beloved husband for 55 years of Mary E. Loving father of Ramiro Jr. and his wife Sylvia and Diane Ortega and her husband Jorge. Dear grandfather of Christopher Saavedra and Christina and Nicole Ortega. Cherished brother of Josefina Saavedra de Blanco. Mr. Saavedra was born in Galicia, Spain. He lived 18 years in Down-Neck Newark before moving to Lyndhurst for over 30 years. He worked for Beacon Cabinet in Newark as a carpenter. Memorial mass Wednesday 11am at Sacred Church, Lyndhurst.
