Ozyjowski, Raymond, 94, of Fairfield, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016. Beloved husband of Sophie Ozyjowski (nee Koretski). Loving father of Christine Marie Ozyjowski of Reston, VA and Raymond Peter & his wife Connie Ozyjowski of Portland, OR. Cherished grandfather of John Jacob & Henry Carleton. Mr. Ozyjowski was born in Great Meadows and joined the Army Air Corp in 1942 where he served in Spokane WA, Colorado Springs CO and le Shima in the Pacific. He was with Ford Motor Co for 41 years in Edgewater and Teterboro NJ, and was a member and officer of the Fairfield Fire Department for 65 years. He earned the nickname "Coach" from his volunteer time with the Fairfield Athletic Association and as a baseball coach. Funeral service Friday 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10 AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Interment Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows. Friends will be received Thursday 4-8 PM.
