It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Renelito Ilagan de Leon of North Arlington, aged 64, who passed away on January 2, 2025. Renelito was born on June 23, 1960, in Manila, Philippines. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness and dedication touched the lives of many.
Renelito earned his Bachelor's Degree and dedicated his professional life to being a Warehouse Manager at BJ's Wholesale, where he was respected not only for his work ethic but also for his warm demeanor and willingness to lend a helping hand to his colleagues.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Maydy (nee Manese) de Leon, his father, Juanito de Leon, and his loving siblings, Susan, Lolita, Imelda & her husband John O'Neill, Noel & his wife Madeleine, and Mylene. He also leaves behind cherished nephews, Nathaniel, Gabriel, and Jonathan. He is predeceased by his loving mother, Irene Ilagan de Leon.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Renelito's life and legacy during the upcoming services. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 1-8 PM, & Monday, January 6, 5-8 PM. Funeral Tuesday, 10 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. A Mass in Renelito's honor will take place at Queen of Peace R.C. Church at 11 AM, with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
As we say our goodbyes, we take solace in the memories we shared, the laughter we enjoyed, and the love that Renelito gave so freely. He will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
