Richard Dybus

Richard Francis Dybus, age 64, passed away early Tuesday morning, June 15, 2021. Rick leaves behind his beloved wife Mary of 44 years, his three loving sons, Timothy & wife Lisa, Joshua & wife Taylor, and William & wife Ashlene. As well as 5 adoring grandchildren, Elianna, Vivian, Cecelia, Dash and Tate. Rick also leaves behind his beloved brother "Mista" Charlie and sister Jeanne, along with countless other family, friends and acquaintances. Rick had an incredible career in surveying (as did most of America's founding fathers), was an award winning brewer, an avid outdoors-man, perspicacious pun-smith, dynamic improvisationalist, and a veritable font of knowledge that will greatly be missed by all who knew him. Rick had a passion for cooking as well, and displayed his affection for his loved ones in all his meals, he loved teaching his grand-kids, watching them grow, and cracking jokes with them. A celebration of life will be held for Rick on Friday, June 18th, at the American Legion of Rutherford, NJ, located at 424 Carmita Avenue, between the hours of 5:00-8:00 PM. To support others in their battles against cancer, please give in honor or memory of Rick Dybus to the American Cancer Society.
