Richard H. Hild, Sr., 90, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Beloved husband of Joan M. (nee Kahse) Hild. Loving father of Richard H. Hild, Jr. & wife Donna, Scott Hild & wife Marie, Tricia Meo & husband Fred, Jodi Cotugno & husband James and Jimmy Hild & wife Dawn. Cherished grandfather of Megan, Jessica, Scott, David, Allison, Kevin, John, Jacqueline, Patrick, Nicholas, Michael, Lauren, Fred, Stephanie, Christopher, Emily, Molly, Jimmy and Charlotte. Adored great-grandfather of 5. Mr. Hild was an Airforce Veteran serving during the Korean War and a member of the American Legion Post 139. Richard worked for Parks & Recreation for the Township of Lyndhurst prior to his retirement in 2006. Cryptside Service Tuesday 11AM at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
