Richard J. Teehan, Iii

Richard Joseph Teehan III, 70, of Fairfield, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights, passed away on June 22, 2022. Beloved Husband of the late Pamela (Pini) Teehan, Loving Father of Richard Teehan IV, Lindsay Eid & her husband Charlie, Samantha Cangialosi & her husband Anthony. Cherished Grandfather of Henry Eid, Vincent & Salvatore Cangialosi. Dear Brother to Michael & Marian Teehan, Cathryn & Gary Eck and Mary Teehan. Richard is survived by many nieces and nephews. Richard was born in Passaic NJ, and grew up in Hasbrouck Heights. Richard earned his Bachelors degree in accounting and also became a Certified Financial Planner. He moved to Fairfield NJ where he and Pamela raised their family and he went on to retire after 36 years as a CFO at Bauer Publishing. He loved spending his days with family, especially his grandkids. He could sit and watch them all day without ever getting tired of laughing at all the craziness. He was mostly known for his incredible kindness & generosity, which will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. He never missed an event or outing and was always the life of the party and the last to leave. His fun loving personality will be missed the most. To know Rich was to love him.
Funeral Tuesday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass Notre Dame R.C. Church 10AM. Entombment Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Monday 4-8PM. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 or The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
