Richard M O'Connell

Richard M. O'Connell, 88, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. Beloved son of the late Maurice & Veronica Grace O'Connell. Loving brother of Thomas & his wife Marie O'Connell, Maurice & his wife Martina O'Connell, Mary & her husband John Roskowski, and Patricia & her husband Walter Lewandowski. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Mr. O'Connell was the Manager at the United States Post Office in Jersey City. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict from 1951-1953. Memorial Mass Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 10:30AM Sacred Heart Church. Interment Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Menlo Park Veterans Memorial Home, 132 Evergreen Road, Edison NJ 08837.
