Richard Michael Finan

Richard Michael Finan, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away at home on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at the age of 78. Richard was born to Margaret & John Finan on May 12th, 1943, and raised in Newark. He attended St. Rose of Lima School and Church, Barringer High School and then Nursing School after which he served in several hospitals as a registered nurse. He was a devout Catholic and a strong and kind supporter to many others who needed help. He enjoyed spending time and catering as well as preparing special functions for his fellow residents at Carucci Apartments. Richard was predeceased by his parents as well as siblings Oliver Finan, John Finan, Harry Finan and Ann Finan. He is survived by sisters Dorothy Duffy, Margaret Mary Defalco and many nieces and nephews. A remembrance Mass will be offered at Queen of Peace R.C. Church in Lyndhurst on Wednesday, June 2nd at 11AM. Arrangements under the direction of Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst.
