Richard W. Mcmullin

Richard W. McMullin, 87, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Beloved husband of 63 years to Anne McMullin (nee Stecz). Loving father of Fran Arnone & her husband Tony Arnone, Cathy Gandolfi & her husband Bob Gandolfi, and Richie McMullin & his wife Laura McMullin. Cherished grandfather of Nick, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Anthony, Connor & Olivia. Dear brother of the late Marie Crawford and James McMullin. Mr. McMullin was born and raised in Jersey City moving to Lyndhurst 53 years ago. He was an accomplished and proud youth gymnast in Jersey City, competing and placed in the Nationals in 1946. He served honorably in the US Army and was a retired Sheet Metal Worker and a member of Local 25 for 60 plus years. He proudly worked on many landmark projects including the Statue of Liberty restoration. He was a member of the Lyndhurst Elks, Sacred Heart and Mt. Carmel Seniors and AARP. Funeral service Saturday 10AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 11AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
