Rina Palazzo

Rina Tina Palazzo, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on November 26, 2024, in Slatington, PA. Born on September 25, 1935, in West New York, NJ. She dedicated her life to her family, work, and community. Rina moved to Slatington, PA in 1990. She was a proud member of the Lehigh County Pennsylvania School Retirees. She worked for 20 years at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, where she made a lasting impact on all those she encountered. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Angelo E. Palazzo, her children Gerald Conte (Donna), Barbara Tomanek (Paul), Glenn Conte (Patricia), Gary Conte, Diane Jackson-Zappia (Adrienne Zappia), Debra Conte (Dr. Elizabeth Lozada), Tina Thonus, and Michael Palazzo (Regan). She also leaves behind her 11 grandchildren plus 1 deceased, and 7 great grandchildren, whom she adored dearly. Rina is also survived by her sister June Mollica (John). Friends & family will be received Monday 4PM-7PM. Funeral Tuesday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral mass 10AM St. Michael's R.C. Church. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
