Rita Carew

Carew, Rita, 79, long time resident of North Arlington, New Jersey formerly of Winfield Park, NJ passed away on Friday March 6, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved Daughter of the late Thomas & Agnes Carew. Loving mother of Teresa Reilly & her companion Scott McKenna and her late son Michael Peters. Cherished grandmother of Robert & Jeffrey. Dear sister of Thomas, Paul, Matthew, and the late Peter and sister-in-law of Patricia, Chris, Rita, and Joan. Cherished friend of Dr. Marcia Bradley. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rita received her Bachelor's Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1983 and worked as an Administrative Assistant at the New Jersey School of Ballet in Livingston for the past 20 years. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, and watching the NY Giants with her grandsons. Funeral Wednesday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10AM Queen of Peace R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Tuesday 4-8PM. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
