Rita L. Merino

Rita L. Merino, 51, of Nutley, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018. Beloved daughter of Esperanza & the late Felipe Merino. Dear sister of Byron and Carol Merino. Cherished aunt of Amanda, Sophia, Matthew, Laurynn & Mia. Miss Merino was the Global Project Manager in the Immunology and Inflammation therapeutic area at Sanofi. During her 18 years of dedicated service with Sanofi, Rita embraced the company's mission of providing patient access to much needed new therapies. She received her BS in Biology and MBA in Pharmaceutical Management from Seton Hall and her MPH from Boston University. Rita was a loving sister and aunt who personified the meaning of family. She lived life with grace and optimism and loved to travel. She achieved success and forged relationships in both her personal and professional life and was generous with both her love and time. We will miss her but know she is in the hands of God forever with her father Felipe. Funeral Mass Friday 11AM at Queen of Peace R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Friday 9-10:30AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst.
