Robert "Cookie" Reilly

Robert “Cookie” Reilly, 89, of North Arlington, born and raised in Harrison, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019. Beloved husband of 68 years to Jane (nee Adamczyk). Loving father of Catherine Mary Bella & her husband John and Robert J. Reilly & his wife Michele. Adored grandfather of Robert, John, Jeff, Sean, Cristyn, and Carmine. Dear brother to the late Thomas and Joseph Reilly and Lillian Kingeder. Cookie was an ironworker and past president for Local #45. He is an Army veteran who served during World War II. He truly enjoyed volunteering especially for Camp Fatima in Blairstown where he helped for over 20 years. He enjoyed many activities like skiing, sailing, and skydiving. He completed over 80 jumps in his lifetime with one as recent as 2016. Funeral Friday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10AM at Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Friends will be received Thursday from 4PM-8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Catholic Charities, Development Office, 590 North 7th Street, Newark NJ 07107.
