Robert Grusser

Robert Grusser passed away on Sunday, February 11th. He was born in the Netherlands on July 13, 1928 and immigrated to the US in 1948. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War for two years as a draftee. Subsequently he studied Chemical Engineering and graduated in 1960 from Michigan Tech University with a Bachelors of Science Degree. Bob worked as a project engineer and project manager for several engineering and construction companies. Bob retired from Foster Wheeler Corporation in 1996. After retirement Bob worked at Darlington Golf Course for roughly 15 years. Bob was a devoted Husband of Jean Grusser, now deceased, a loving Father of Toni Ann and Husband Steve Pastre, Michele Grusser, and Joseph Grusser and Wife, Cathy. Bob was Grandfather of 8; Ann Marie and husband Daniel Cottrell, Adam and Gabrielle Garcia, Jack, Patrick, Casey, and Mary Grusser.
Funeral Friday at 9AM from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Elizabeth Church, Wyckoff. Interment Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
