Robert J. Buchalski

Robert J. Buchalski, 77, of Red Bank, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, with his beloved wife by his side. Together for 59 years, Bob is survived by Ernestine (nee Sofia), his wife of 54 years, his daughter Debra & her husband Paul Descloux of Ossining, NY, Robert J. Jr. & his wife Anna Marie of Washingtonville, NY, Brian & his wife Denise of Hamilton Square, NJ and Greg & his wife Joan of Red Bank, NJ. He is also survived by his sisters Dorothy TaBois, of Newark, DE and Bernadette Kocholis of Lyndhurst, NJ. He was the cherished grandfather of Kristina, Jon-Paul, Brian, Joseph, Emily, Jacqueline, Gary, Toni Ann, Greg Jr., Jack and Anna. Mr. Buchalski, a veteran of the Korean War, was born in Jersey City and moved to Staten Island where he lived for 50 years. He previously owned a bakery, he worked for Toshiba as a mechnical engineer and, most recently, owned and operated PMC Services. Summers were spent in Monticello, NY at his house on Swinging Bridge Lake. Funeral Saturday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10 AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday 5-9 PM at the funeral home.
