Gaul, Robert J. , 78, of Fort Lee, NJ on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Cuddy). Loving father of Stephen & his wife Nora, and Craig & his girlfriend Lori. Dear brother of Elizabeth Colditz , Patricia Cavalli & her husband Daniel, and Howard Godfrey & his wife Janice. Devoted grandfather of Scott. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Robert was predeceased by his brother Myles Gaul and his brother in law Howard Colditz. Since 1951 after graduating High School he became a banker. Robert worked for the Provident Savings Bank in Jersey City for 29 years before retiring in 1998. Funeral at 9AM from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Fort Lee at 10AM.
