Jones Sr., Robert J., 80, of Edgewater, NJ on Saturday, November 3, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (nee Ford) Jones. Loving father of Michael & his wife Laurie Jones, Deborah Jones & Daniel Eggers, Diane & her husband Anthony Mastrofilippo and the late Kenneth, Ruth Ann, David & Robert Jones. Caring brother of the late William Jr. & Arthur Jones. Devoted grandfather of Michael, Matthew & his wife Kimberly, and Brendan Jones, Elizabeth Keating, and Victoria & Jennifer Mastrofilippo. Cherished great-grandfather of Jack Jones. Mr. Jones is a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean Conflict. Robert worked for Lever Brothers for 35 years and at the Wild Rover Bar in Guttenberg. He was a member of the American Legion Post #18 of Weehawken. Funeral service Wednesday at 7:30PM at the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee. Cremation Private. Friends will be received Wednesday 4-8PM.
