Robert J. Sabato, 70, of Pine Brook, NJ formerly of Bloomfield passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Beloved husband of MaryAnn (nee Zabatta) Sabato. Devoted father of Anthony Sabato & his fiance Sharon Sylvestro, Suzanne & her husband Steven Cristello and Robert Sabato, Jr. Cherished grandfather of Nicole and Alissa Cristello. Dear brother of Vincent and Dennis Sabato and the late Peter Sabato. Loving son of the late Anthony & Victoria Sabato. Robert was an Aerospace Engineer at Bendix/Allied Signal Corp. for 40 years before retiring in 1999. Funeral Monday at 10AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 11AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Cremation private. Friends will be received Sunday 2-7PM.
