Robert Joseph Goias, 83, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021. Beloved husband of E. Jean (nee Wilson) Goias. Loving father of Joseph Scott Goias, Cathy Jean & her husband Paul Boyce, Thomas Mark Goias and the late Bobby Goias. Cherished grandfather of Teressa Marie, Joshua Paul & Alexia Boyce, Madisyn & Tyler Goias. Dear brother of Thomas Allen & his wife Elaine Goias and brother-in-law of Raymond G. & his wife Vera Wilson, and E. James, Sr. & his wife Nancy Wilson. Mr. Goias loved all sports from little league to the majors he could often be found enjoying a game at the field or on the YES network. Funeral Friday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass Friday 10AM St. Michael's R.C. Church. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 7-9PM. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
