Ronald Richard Mikatarian

Ronald Richard Mikatarian, 86, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024. Devoted husband of the late Constance & Jean Mikatarian and surviving spouse Diana Mikatarian. Beloved father of Douglas & his wife Michelle Mikatarian, Jeff & his wife Kim Mikatarian, and stepfather to Craig & his wife Muriel Mason, the late Lynn Cook and the late Beth Mason. Dear brother of June St. Clair & her late husband Richard and the late Kenneth Mikatarian & his surviving wife Annabelle. Cherished grandfather of Kaitlin Mikatarian & her husband Sean Carrigan, Kendra & her husband Robert Kent, Mikayla & her husband Chris Gauldin, Stephanie Mikatarian, Holly Mikatarian, and Jessica Mikatarian. Adored great-grandfather of Kalista Kent. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Mikatarian was an aeronautical engineer who earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Masters in Engineering degree from University of Santa Clara in California. He worked at Boeing before retiring four years ago. He and his dedicated team oversaw the International Space Station Environmental Program. He loved playing bridge, going to the gym, his family, and his many dogs and cats. Services are private.
