Ronald Rutolo

Rutolo, Ronald N., 72, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Klepach) Rutolo. Loving father of Marc & his wife Stefanie Rutolo, Beth Ann & her husband Matthew Svorinic, and the late Brian Rutolo. Cherished grandfather of Tyler Svorinic. Dear brother of Robert Rutolo, Denise Kascic, and Andrew Rutolo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Originally from Jersey City, New Jersey, Ronald graduated from St. Peters University and then went on to earn his CPA. He worked at Seiko and Ceres Terminals for many years as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and was semi-retired and self-employed for the past few years. Ronald met his wife Carol in high school, and between dating and marriage they were together for 55 years.

Ronald was a lifelong learner and he most enjoyed learning everything there is to know about computers. He was also an avid photographer, winning several photography awards in his photography club. In recent years, Ronald could be found spending time on his HAM radio, after passing all three licensing exams.

Although Ronald had several hobbies, family was always the most important thing to him. He lived for family and was happiest when everyone was together. He supported his children in all of their ambitions and was always their biggest fan. Ronald was absolutely thrilled to become a grandfather last year and doted on his grandson whom he loved with all his heart.

Funeral Thursday. Please meet at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst at 8:45AM to be followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:45AM at Queen of Peace Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Wednesday 4-9PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home.
