Rose Crane

Rose Crane (nee Nessine), 87, of Fairfield, New Jersey passed away on Monday January 21, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Bartholomew Crane. Loving mother of Mary Keller & her husband Bob Morris, Michael Crane, and Steve Crane. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Keller, Michael Patrick Crane, Nicholas Crane, Christopher Crane, and Christopher Morris. Adored great-grandmother of Bryan and Chasity Rose. Dear sister of Angie Giannazzo, Dolores Leadbeater, & the late John Nessine, Anna Palmisano, and Anthony Nessine. Mrs. Crane worked at St. Thomas More Church as the Parish Secretary for 18 years. She was a very active member of the STM Parish, she was a Eucharistic Minister, Certified CCD teacher, member of the Rosary Society and Lazuras Committee. Rose was founder and past president of the 55 Plus Club at the church, she chaired many fundraisers for over 20 years, and was fondly known as the "Carnival Queen" for all of her efforts in organizing the parish carnival. She was a member of the Fairfield Women's Club and member and secretary of the Fairfield Welfare Dept for 6 years. Funeral Friday 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass Friday 10AM St. Thomas More RC Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 7-9PM. Donations may be made to St. Thomas More Church, 12 Hollywood Ave., Fairfield, NJ 07004.
