Rose De Blasis

De Blasis, Rose, 94, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother Rose passed away on Monday, October 19, 2009 at the West Caldwell Care Center. Born in Vasto, Italy, Rose came to the United States in 1929, residing in Union City, NJ and later in West New York, NJ, until 1988, when she moved to Fairfield, NJ to reside with her son and daughter-in-law. She worked as a seamstress for many years before retiring in 1974. She is a member of the ILGWU of New York. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Leonard. She is survived by her son, Ernest De Blasis & his wife Nancy. A daughter Laura Lurig of Little Falls, NJ. Grandchildren, Christopher De Blasis & his wife Joann of West Caldwell, NJ, Scott De Blasis of Fairfield, NJ and great-grandchildren Alyssa, Nicole & Joseph De Blasis. Funeral Thursday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10 AM at St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Interment Flower Hill Cemetery, North Bergen.
