Rose Marie Hurley (nee Angiouli), passed away on Sunday, November 18, at her residence at Cadbury Retirement Community in Lewes, Delaware at the age of 95. Rose was born in Newark, NJ on September 4, 1917 and until recently was a long term resident of Lyndhurst, NJ and a parishioner at Sacred Heart Church. Rose married Joseph F. Hurley at Sacred Heart Church in 1940. In addition to raising her two sons, Rose worked for many years as an administrative assistant in the Lyndhurst Police Department and prior to that as a legal secretary. Rose is survived by her sons, Jim Hurley and his wife Carol living in Lewes, DE and Tom Hurley and his wife Marianne living in Houston, TX, her seven loving grandchildren, Joe, Jim, Michael, Tom, Jennifer, Kathleen and Mike, her brother Sam Angiuoli and sisters Josephine Candio and Betty Rullo. She is predeceased by her loving husband Joe and brother Anthony Angiuoli. Funeral Saturday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10 AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Friday 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Vitas Hospice Charitable Fund, Foundation for End-of-Life Care, 100 Commerce Drive, Suite 302, Newark DE 19713 or through their website www.vitascharityfund.org.
