Roseann Deluca

April 21, 1944 — April 25, 2020

Roseann Deluca (born Roseann A Reilly) 76, passed suddenly on April 20th, 2020 whilst caring for her senior patient. She was born April 21st 1944 to Gladys and Jack Reilly of Fort Lee, New Jersey.

Roseann lived a life fulfilling her creative interests and entrepreneurial pursuits including multiple businesses in tough Manhattans Diamond district. A fitting profession for a person whose birth month is represented by the diamond. Roseann, a fiery red-head took pride in her Irish heritage and catholic beliefs channeling energies in activism for the environment and inequality. After earning a degree from Wells College, she set down a second life path choosing the noble vocation in service to others as a Nursing/Homemaker - Home Health Aid for seniors in the Bergan County area.

Ro was funny, sharp, and generous to others. She had a larger than life personality, and in a class all her own.

Roseann is survived by Lisa Bruno (daughter), Robert Bruno (son), Donald Bruno (son) and Joseph Bruno (grandson). Roseann, the middle child of a large Irish family predeceased by siblings Gladys Reilly Thompson, Joanne Daus, John Reilly and Robert Reilly. She leaves behind her sisters Mary Holst, Patricia Rafanello, and Kathleen Spoerl and many nieces, nephews, their families and friends.

Even though her sole left us unexpectedly, the memories of her quick wit, Irish grit, love and happy days will remain with her friends and family. Everyone she touched was gifted with Roseann-original experiences, antics and belly laugh-until-you-cry type stories.

Due to current circumstances and with CDC guidance, arrangements are private and under the direction of Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home in Lyndhurst. The family wishes to thank those who have extended their support during this time. In lieu of flowers, we respectfully request you make a donation in her name to charity important to you and your family. A celebration of life gathering to be announced at future date.
