Rosemarie Christina Grieco

Rosemarie Christina Grieco (nee Spagnoletti), 75, of Fairfield, NJ went to the Lord surrounded by her loving family in her home on Saturday, February 2. For 54 years she was the beloved wife of Kenneth Grieco. She was the devoted mother of Ken & his wife Karen Grieco, Terry & her husband Tom Kenny, Joanne & her late husband Ron Pierson, Michele & her late husband Thor Jorgensen, the late Mark Grieco, Joseph & Pamela Grieco, and Gina & her husband Dr. Derek Noonan. She was a cherished grandmother of Ron Erik, Gabrielle, Nigel, Jack, Rebecca, Melissa, Kate, Mark, Luke and Chloe, and dear sister of Dr. Louis & his wife Joan Spagnoletti. A Third Order Carmelite and a member of The Legion of Mary, her devoted service to the Lord was manifest in many ways. She was a passionate crusader for The Right to Life movement, participated in bringing the Lady of Fatima visitation statue to parishioner's homes, helped the homeless through her work with Interface Hospitality, and volunteered for many years at The Caldwell Care Center. She influenced the lives of countless children in her many years as a teacher and as the director of St. Thomas More preschool. She was the President of the Women's Auxiliary of the VFW Post 7925 and received a Citizenship Award of Excellence from the Township of Fairfield. Her greatest joy was sharing Sunday dinners with her family. She was loved and respected by all who were blessed to know her. Funeral Saturday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
