Rosemary R. Wey

Rosemary R. Wey, 83, a resident of Lyndhurst , NJ her entire life, passed away on December 21, 2020 in Hospice at Hackensack UMC after a three year courageous battle with kidney disease and recent complications of COVID.

Rosemary worked as a clerk at Leslie Company in Lyndhurst, Hoffman La Roche, and retired from PSE&G. She was a board member for R.E.C. (Recognition of Exceptional Citizens, Inc) and a member of Mount Carmel Seniors.

She enjoyed collecting cookbooks, going to garage sales, casinos, and travel to historic destinations. People who knew her would describe her as kind-hearted, down to earth, loyal, and a true friend.

Rosemary was predeceased by her husband Clement (Mickey) Wey, Sr. and her son Clement (Mickey) Wey, Jr. She is survived by her twin daughters Marilyn Cestari (Jupiter, FL) and Patti Burke and her husband Philip (Hobe Sound, FL), grandsons Evan Cestari (Portland, OR), Steven Cestari and his wife Alison ( Rochester Hills, MI), Eric Burke (Stuart, FL), and great-granddaughters Penelope, Josephine, and Ophelia (Rochester Hills, MI).

At her request, she will be cremated and laid to rest at Crest Haven Cemetery in Clifton, NJ with her husband, son, parents and beloved brother Joseph Hohl. A celebration of her life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to and greatly appreciated to R.E.C. INC, PO Box 411, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071.
