Rusbel Mendez

Today we honor and remember the life of Rusbel Mendez, a kind and loving man. Born on September 23, 1940, in Duverge, Dominican Republic, Rusbel’s journey was one marked by dedication, generosity and hard work. He passed away on October 16, 2024 in Hackensack, NJ.

After graduating from the prestigious Loyola Polytechnic Institute in the Dominican Republic, and studied at the Mechanics Institute of New York. He was also one of the founding members of the Dominican PLD (Partido de la Liberación Dominicana) in New York City. Rusbel worked for AT&T and Unilever.

He is survived by his loving wife, Josefa Mendez, his devoted daughter, Rosemary Brito, his son, Robert Mendez, and five cherished grandchildren. Rusbel was predeceased by his dear son Joseph Mendez. and are now joined in eternal rest.
