Ruth Frances Mabey

Ruth Frances Mabey (nee Schweitzer), 97, lifelong resident of Fairfield, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Beloved daughter of the late Frank & Gertrude Schweitzer. Loving wife of the late Robert H. Mabey. Cherished owner of many pets including her dog "TT", cat Berry, and her dove & parakeet. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ruth was born and raised in the home where she later lived with her husband and entered into eternal life. Ruth and Bob enjoyed traveling around the country in their RV. She loved nature and caring for all plants and animals around the river by her home. We take comfort in knowing that she is joining many of her pets in heaven. Graveside service Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11AM at Restland Memorial Park. Arrangements under the direction of the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Humane Society of the United States, 1255 23rd Street, NW, Suite 450, Washington, DC 20037.
