Ruth M. Icklan

Ruth M. Icklan (nee Wake) age 86 died on June 22, 2004 at Marriott Leisure Village in Lakewood. She was born in Jersey City and lived in Lyndhurst for 42 years before moving to Lakewood in 1997. Ruth was a bookkeeper for National Community Bank in Lyndhurst for 15 years, retiring in 1980. She was pre-deceased by her husband Thomas J. in 1985. She was the loving mother of Thomas, William, James and John Icklan. She is the dear sister of Grace Wake. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Friday at 8am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd. Lyndurst followed by a Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church at 9am. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Friends will be received on Thursday 6-8pm.
