Salvatore Buffa, 84, of Lyndhurst, NJ, passed away at home on November 22, 2020. Beloved husband of Vita (nee Fiorentelli). Loving father of Giuseppa Sanchez and her husband Anthony. Giuseppe Buffa and his wife Francine, and Maria Nazzaro and her husband Paul. Adored grandfather of Francesca, Vita, Anthony, Liliana, Lia, Sofia, Elita, and Vanessa. Cherished great-grandfather of Lorenzo and Adriana. Devoted brother of Elita Cusenza and her husband Antonino and the Late Vincenzo Buffa and his wife the Late Maria. Dear uncle of Massimiliano Buffa. Mr. Buffa came to the United States from Sicily in 1970. In 1992 he opened his business, La Bella Vita Pizzeria, in Lyndhurst. He was a longtime member of the Associazione Italiana Ieri Oggi Domani. Salvatore was an established singer and loved to entertain and make people laugh. Funeral Saturday 9AM from Ippolito Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd. Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass Saturday 10AM, Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4PM & 7-9PM at the funeral home.
