Salvatore Scibetta

Salvatore Scibetta of Bayonne entered into eternal life Monday 6-19-17. He was born in San Giovanni Gemini, Sicily and migrated to Bayonne in 1960. Beloved husband of 56 years to Nazarena "Nina" (nee: Traina). Loving father of Francesco Scibetta & his wife Eileen, and Rosangela Calderon & her husband Jason. Devoted grandfather of Francesco, Emma, Angelina, and Lucas. Dear brother of Carmela & her husband Frank LoScrudato. Also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Sal owned Sal's Barber Shop in Jersey City and worked as a Barber for most of his life. Later in life he was employed by the Bayonne Board of Education as a custodian. He was a member of the Sicilian Citizens Club as well as a former member of their Bocce Team. Funeral Friday 9am from the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Ave. C Bayonne. Funeral mass will be offered at 10am Blessed Miriam Teresa at St Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church 125 Broadway, Bayonne. Entombment to follow Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
