Samuel J. Angiuoli

Angiuoli, Samuel J., 95, a life-long resident of Lyndhurst, NJ passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014. Beloved husband of 65 years to the late Emily (nee Stellato) Angiuoli who passed away in January of 2012. Loving father Anthony S. & his wife Francesca Angiuoli and Maryann & her husband Dr. Donald Rubino. Cherished grandfather of Samuel Vincent Angiuoli, Francesca Merritt, Emily & Alexander Rubino. Adored great-grandfather of Augustine Francis Merritt & Vincent Anthony Angiuoli. Dear brother of Josephine Candio, Elizabeth Rullo and the late Anthony Angiuoli & Rose Hurley. Sam was a graduate of Lyndhurst High School and the Casey Jones School of Aeronautics. He entered the Army Air Corps as a private in January of 1941 and served for the duration of WWII. Upon his discharge in November of 1945 he had risen to the rank of Master Sergeant and Squadron Maintenance Chief serving in a number of units including the 102nd Observation (Reconnaissance) Squadron. Sam was employed by Union Carbide in Newark and Keasby, NJ as a Machine Shop Supervisor. He was a life long parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Lyndhurst. Sam served in the Knights of Columbus for 4 decades becoming a 4th degree knight in 1993..
