Sara DiNapoli, born on March 24, 1949, in New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, in Chesapeake, Virginia, at the age of 76. Her vibrant spirit and warm heart will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Sara dedicated four years to the field of home health care, where she provided compassionate support and care to those in need. Her nurturing nature extended into her personal life through her love for baking, cooking, and spending cherished moments with her family. She was known for her delightful culinary creations and the joy she found in sharing them with loved ones.
Sara also had a fondness for the thrill of gambling, often enjoying visits to Atlantic City and the Rivers Casino in Portsmouth, Virginia. These excursions were a testament to her adventurous spirit and her ability to find joy in life's simple pleasures.
She is preceded in death by her beloved father, John Quartararo; mother, Mary Quartararo; brother, Carl Quartararo; first husband, William Coviello; and step-daughter, Bridget Pawlowski.
Sara is survived by her devoted husband, Edward DiNapoli; her loving daughter, Stephanie Fleming and son-in-law, Shawn Fleming; her son, John Coviello; and step-son, Edward P. DiNapoli. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Aiden Fleming, Shawn Fleming, Kamryn Pawlowski, Christopher Pawlowski, Jason Pawlowski, Dino DiNapoli, and Kira DiNapoli.
Sara DiNapoli's memory will forever be treasured by her family and friends, whose lives she touched with her kindness and unwavering love. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the warmth of her memories and the enduring love of those she leaves behind.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025 from 9:30am-12:30pm in Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, Lyndhurst. Mass will be celebrated at 1:00pm in Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst NJ. Cremation is private.
