Sara Maria Suarez Panchi of Rutherford NJ passed peacefully on December 28, 2023.

Beloved wife of Galo, cherished mother to Jose, his wife Lisa Sarrao-Panchi of River Edge, and loving Grandmother of Matthew and Julia Panchi. Sister to José Manuel, Casimiro, Adelina, Domenica and Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Born in Illaso, Spain to parents Domenica and José Suárez, Sara worked on the family farm until she immigrated to Cuba, then Washington DC, where she met Galo and became a seamstress.

An amazing wife, incredible mother, and mother-in-law, she truly loved and adored being a Grandmother to Matthew and Julia. "Bella" was a gentle soul with a beautiful smile and an incredible chef who could make hot dogs and a potato into a gourmet meal.

The family will receive friends at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Road Lyndhurst, NJ on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 3 PM to 7 PM

A funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Lyndhurst, followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

Amada esposa de Galo, querida madre de José, su esposa Lisa Sarrao-Panchi de River Edge y amorosa abuela de Matthew y Julia Panchi. Hermana de José Manuel, Casimiro, Adelina, Domenica y tía de muchas sobrinas y sobrinos. Nacida en Illaso, España, de padres Domenica y José Suárez, Sara trabajó en la granja familiar hasta que emigró a Cuba y luego a Washington DC, donde conoció a Galo y se convirtió en una fuente de estrés.

Una esposa increíble, madre y suegra maravillosa, ella realmente amaba y adoraba ser abuela de Matthew y Julia. “Bella” era un alma gentil con una hermosa sonrisa y una chef increíble que podía convertir hot dogs y papas en una comida gourmet.

La familia recibirá amigos en Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Road Lyndhurst, Nueva Jersey, el martes 2 de enero de 2024, de 3 p.m. a 7 p.m.

Se celebrará una misa fúnebre el miércoles 3 de enero de 2024 a las 10:00 a. m. en la Iglesia del Sagrado Corazón en Lyndhurst, seguida del entierro en el cementerio de Holy Cross en North Arlington.
