Sarkis John Hakimian

Sarkis John Hakimian, beloved father, son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on November 13, 1968, in Paterson, New Jersey to Ohannes & Angele. John was a loving presence in the lives of all who knew him.

John, a proud resident of Fairfield, New Jersey, held a Bachelor's Degree and was passionate about various pursuits, including his love for classic movies and classic rock music. A talented guitarist, he enjoyed sharing his passion for music with family and friends, often bringing joy and laughter wherever he went. Sarkis's humor and infectious spirit made him the life of every gathering; he had a unique way of making everyone around him feel special and appreciated.

Beloved husband of 25 years to the late Joyce Ann (nee O'Reilly) Hakimian. Devoted father to his daughter, Paige Hakimian, and his deep love for her made them the closest of friends. Cherished brother to his identical twin, Paul Hakimian & his wife Lisa and his sister, Anni Hakimian. Dear uncle of Paul Hakimian.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation Thursday 4-7PM at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd., Fairfield. Intimate gathering Friday 11AM at the funeral home for a prayer service followed by the interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair.

John will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and his legacy of love, laughter, and music will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.
