Saverio Piccininni, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday, December 1, 2023. Born on May 27, 1940, in Molfetta, Italy, Saverio was known for his friendly demeanor, generous spirit, and joking personality.
In 1956, at the tender age of 16, Saverio embarked on a life-changing journey, immigrating to America with his family aboard the SS Andrea Doria. It was here that he met his beloved late wife, Angela, with whom he built a beautiful family and successful business. Saverio was a devoted husband and a loving father, his family always at the heart of his endeavors.
Saverio is survived by his son, Stephen Piccininni and his wife Cristina; his daughters, Judith Capasso and her husband Dwight, and Susan Fjeldal and her husband Charley. He was a cherished grandfather to Marisa, Charlie, Stephen, Sadie, and Railyn. He also leaves behind his brothers, Vincent, Sr. and Michael.
Saverio missed his wife dearly since her passing and looked forward to their reunion in Heaven. His life was a testament to the power of love, family, and hard work. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed.
