Sergio Joya Fojas

Sergio Joya Fojas, 83, of Secaucus, New Jersey was born in the Philippines before immigrating to NYC in 1967. He was reunited on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 with his beloved wife of 28 years Catalina (nee Narvaez) Fojas on their wedding anniversary. Loving Father "Ta" of Serina Fojas, Serge D. Fojas & his wife Belinda, Shelley Fojas and Stacy Fojas-Tauthong & her husband Sakda. Cherished "TaTa" of Angelina, Sydney, Hunter, Ryley, Reese, Aliya and Myles. Dear brother of Cynia Fojas, Anita "Baby" Carbonel and the late Raul "Boyong" Fojas and Cesar "Joe" Fojas. Mr. Fojas was a member of the Rotary International in Secaucus where he held office and Cavite Association where he was a founding member and past president. He graduated from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) with at Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. After working in his field, he became an entrepreneur in the Import/Export of luxury goods as well as Money Remittance to the Philippines. Funeral Mass Monday 10:45AM Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Family and Friends will be received Sunday 1-7PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst.
