Sophie Ozyjowski

Sophie Ozyjowski(nee Koretski), 90, of Fairfield, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Ozyjowski. Loving mother of Christine Marie Ozyjowski and Raymond Peter & his wife Connie Ozyjowski. Cherished grandmother of John Jacob & Henry Carleton Ozyjowski. Sophie was born in Brooklyn, NY, the only girl among six brothers. She lived in Fairfield for over 60 years where she was a member of the Fairfield Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the St. Thomas More Church Rosary Society. She was an avid Brooklyn Dodger and New York Met fan. Sophie also loved to visit her family in Virginia and Oregon throughout the years. Funeral service Saturday 9:30AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Interment Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ. Friends will be received Saturday 8:30-9:30AM.
