Czochanski, Stella (nee Polewacz), 86, of Lyndhurst formerly of Jersey City, NJ on Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Czochanski. Loving mother of Christine Mazurkiewicz. Dear sister of Helen Reynolds and the late Edward Polewacz, Mary Slater, and Jean Gazdowicz. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Mazurkiewicz, Lauren Ballantyne, Kristin Patton, & Jessica Mazurkiewicz. Devoted great grandmother of Meren & Hayden Patton. Mrs. Czochanski was a bank clerk for Morgan Guaranty in New York City. She was a member of the Polish-American Citizens Club and St. Michael's Seniors. Funeral at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Michael's R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Sunday 2-8 PM.
