DeParto, Susan (nee DePrinzio), 90, of Lyndhurst, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 28, 2015. She was the wife of the late Philip A. De Parto of North Bergen, NJ. Born in Rillton, PA on November 8, 1925, she was the daughter of the late James and Rose (De Luca) De Prinzio. She attended Memorial High School in West New York, NJ and was a faithful parishioner of Sacred Heart R. C. Church in Lyndhurst. A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and great-aunt, she was well-known in her circle of family and friends for her generous spirit and feisty personality. She loved music, dancing and all things Italian. The self-proclaimed "Queen of Eggplant," you could usually find her in the kitchen cooking it for friends and family. She is survived by her sister, Mary Facciolla of California, her brother and sister-in-law, Angelo and Marie De Prinzio of Bergenfield, NJ, her sons Philip J. De Parto and longtime companion, Pamela Webber of Waldwick, NJ, Michael A. De Parto and wife, Anne, of Watchung, NJ and her daughter, Theresa (De Parto) Prizzi and her husband, Joseph, of Hackettstown, NJ. She will be greatly missed by her four grandchildren Danielle and Michelle Prizzi and Christian and Amanda De Parto, as well as by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral Wednesday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, New Jersey. Funeral Mass 10AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Interment Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah. Friends will be received Monday 7-9PM & Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers, donations made be made in her memory to the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth, P.O. Box 476, Convent Station, NJ 07961-0476.
