Suzanne B. Machcinski

Suzanne (Kellerman) Machcinski, 59, died on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

Suzanne was born in Passaic. She graduated from Lacey Township High School in 1983.

Caring and kind at her core, she found a life in customer service. For 33 years, she enjoyed helping others in customer service for ShopRite in Lyndhurst. That care extended into her personal life, where she was a good listener for her husband, Walter, and son, Joshua. She was never too shy to give a hug and offered much-needed guidance in life’s largest decisions.

Her warmest moments also came during her most competitive times - when the family sat down to play a few rounds of MarioKart. No matter how difficult a day may have been, a few laps around Rainbow Road put life at bay.

Suzanne’s greatest pride shone through her son, Josh. Whether it was taking a few minutes to talk about his day, happily observing as he tried on new clothes or just a quick phone call between college classes, she always ensured he came first.

She found joy in nature, whether it was a drive through the woods to view the Fall foliage, or sitting on the couch enjoying a moment with the family dog, Taffy.

Suzanne is predeceased by her parents, John and Barbara Kellerman and daughter, Karen Machcinski. She will be forever missed by her husband, Walter, son, Joshua, and numerous extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral mass on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel R.C. Church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
