Thomas Hughes

Thomas Hughes, 78, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019. Beloved husband of Peggy (nee Cronin) Hughes. Devoted son of the late Thomas & Anna Hughes and son-in-law of Madeline & the late William Cronin. Loving father of Brian and Kevin Hughes. Dear brother of the late William Hughes, Elizabeth Costello and James Hughes. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Hughes was a warehouse worker for Howemedica for 19 years. He was a US Navy Veteran serving from 1961-1966. Funeral Saturday 10AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 11AM Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. Private cremation. Friends will be received Friday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lyndhurst Recognition of Exceptional Citizens, Inc., PO Box 411, Lyndhurst NJ 07071.
