Thomas J. Mahoney

Thomas J. Mahoney, 72, of Point Pleasant, New Jersey formerly of North Arlington passed away on Friday September 28, 2018 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Elena M. Mahoney (nee Petrillo). Loving son of the late John & Frances Mahoney. Devoted son-in-law of Joseph "Hoxie" & the late Helen Petrillo. Dear brother of the late John & Kathleen Mahoney and the late Sharon Mahoney. Cherished brother-in-law of Cheryl Gash & her late husband John. Adored uncle of Lauren & Danny Keogh, Patrick & Brenda Mahoney, Brian & Denise Mahoney, Sharon & Scott McDonald, Terry & Maite Mahoney, and their children. Also survived by many cousins and friends. Mr. Mahoney was the owner of T&M Plumbing and Heating in North Arlington for 25 years before retiring in 2001. Tom was an avid fisherman and enjoyed sitting on his deck watching the boats go by on the Point Pleasant Canal. He loved entertaining friends and family with his culinary skills. Funeral Wednesday at 10AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 11AM Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
